Nearly 140 representatives of public bodies, environmental consultants and wind energy investors were informed on the institutional framework of RES, the impact of wind farms on biodiversity, modern techniques to reduce the impact of wind farms on biodiversity, etc. The most important conclusion of the seminar was that the good cooperation of all actors would help to develop wind energy in Greece with minimal impact on biodiversity.
