In early October 2016, a second bat detection system was installed in NEG MICON 750 kW wind turbine at CRES wind farm-PENA in Keratea, Attica. The two systems that will be evaluated in this wind turbine is the Pettersson Elektronik, D500X Ultrasound Detector / Recorder and the Song Meter SM3 Wildlife Acoustics.

The project workshop is successfully implemented by CRES and NCC at CRES Wind Farm-PENA in Keratea. The participants came from the Wind Energy Sector (wind investors and wind energy manufacturers), energy and environmental consultants and environmental organisations.
Within the workshop a demonstration of the equipment (DTBird, Bat detector) has been installed in NEG MICON/750kW wind turbine is implemented.
